MES is seeking an experienced Open Pit Mine Surveyor to work for a rapidly growing gold company, which is well advanced in developing a new, large Western Australian open-pit mining project.
Requirements.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Surveying;
- WA Authorised Mine Surveyor Certificate (Grade 1 or 2);
- Current 'C Class' Drivers' License;
- REPL;
- Surpac experience essential;
- Exposure to M300, M200 & Phantom 4 Drones desirable.
Position Duties:
- Pit design set outs and markups as required by the mine plan;
- Drone Surveys and Post Processing - Rom, Pit, Stockpiles, Topographic Surveys;
- Drill pattern pickup, blast masters, volume calculations and blasted stocks reports;
- Topographical surveys, pit movement pickup and plan updates;
- End of Month pit, ROM stockpile, topsoil and clearing surveys, volume calculations (block model/solids) and reports;
- Environmental, waste dump surveys, volume calculations and reports;
- Exploration, grade control, and ore markup surveys;
- Tailings dam as-con surveys, EOM reporting, design and setout;
- High order control network establishment, GNSS static and conventional surveys.
Experience
1-3+ years experience in a similar position (gold experience essential)
