Our client, a well-regarded ASX-listed gold producer, is seeking an experienced Senior Mine Production Engineer to join their team in the Eastern Goldfields in the Laverton district.
Job Requirements:
- Degree qualification in Mining Engineering;
- WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency - desirable;
- Supervisory or Management Training;
- Experience mentoring and developing a team of Mining Engineers;
- Previous exposure to all production phases, preferably gold;
- Proficient with Deswik mining software.
Position Duties:
- Develop and implement weekly, monthly production plans in line with operational targets;
- Manage the design of stopes and drill and blast plans to maintain minimal dilution and maximum recovery;
- Reconciliation of mined plan versus actual to identify improvement areas;
- Direct and lead all members of the production team and operational mining team and ensure goal unity through concise communication - including include coordinating the training and mentoring of the Production and Graduate Engineers;
- Act as the Deputy Underground Manager when required.
