Our client is a uniquely positioned gold exploration and development company located in the highly productive eastern goldfields region of WA. They are currently in need of a Core Yard Technician for an immediate start.
Job Requirements:
- Current 'C' Class Drivers License;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug & alcohol screen;
- Strong MS office skills;
- High level of fitness;
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with a strong safety focus.
Position Duties:
- Core sampling; cutting; mark-up and photography;
- Maintain accurate records of production and sampling data;
- Collaborate with the mining and geological teams to ensure efficient operations
- Responsible for providing some technical support underground when needed, as well as performing core yard duties.
Experience
2+ years experience in a similar role.
