Native Mineral Resources said FY2026 was its first year as a gold producer, with Blackjack pouring first gold in July 2025. The company reported 3,561.7 ounces of fine gold outturn across 75 smelts, 209,853 dry tonnes of ore milled and A$24.1 million in revenue from its first full year of metal sales.
The company recorded a A$34.8 million loss after tax for FY2026, compared with a A$16.2 million loss in FY2025. NMR said the result included exploration and evaluation expenditure, wage costs, plant and equipment hire, fair value losses on convertible securities, depreciation and non-cash share-based payments to directors.
At 30 June 2026, NMR reported a net current asset deficiency of A$36.5 million and a net asset deficiency of A$1.9 million. The financial statements were prepared on a going-concern basis, while the company said a material uncertainty exists dependent on production growth, support from financiers and creditors, and its ability to raise funds if required.
NMR said a reverse-circulation drilling program began at Blackjack North Pit in August 2026 to support geological modelling and pit design. Subject to results and approvals, the company is targeting the start of mining at North Pit by the end of January 2027.
