Investigator Silver lodges Paris mining lease application

Investigator Silver lodges Paris mining lease application

The company said the mining lease application has entered assessment and community consultation, beginning the regulatory review required before a mining lease can be granted. During the quarter it also advanced metallurgical testwork, infrastructure planning, process design optimisation, procurement planning and mine development studies.

Investigator Silver said its approximately 30,000-metre drilling program began in late September after weather-related interruptions earlier in the year. It reported 24 holes for about 2,900 metres completed by quarter end, with the program intended to support resource-category conversion and assess mineralisation growth opportunities within and beyond the current DFS mine plan.

The company also reported identifying a silver-bearing epithermal system at the Theseus Prospect, about 7.5 kilometres southeast of Paris. Historical core sampling returned multiple silver-bearing intervals associated with epithermal alteration and base-metal mineralisation, which the company said highlighted the wider Paris Silver Corridor's prospectivity.
