Evion Group stated in its October 2026 corporate presentation that it is advancing the Maniry Graphite Project toward construction. The company said mining permits have been granted and that binding offtake terms are in place, while definitive offtake documentation, final environmental approval, project finance and a final investment decision remain to be completed.
The company said Maniry has been recognised as an EU Strategic Project under the EU Critical Raw Materials Act. Evion also reported a binding term sheet with a German buyer for about 10,000 tonnes per year over five years, including floor-price protection, while noting definitive agreements and project finance are still to follow.
Evion said the Maniry mine contains a graphite resource with potential to yield more than 1.2 million tonnes of concentrate over its mine life. Its presentation cites a 16.2 million tonne probable ore reserve grading 6.6% total graphitic carbon, a total resource of 40 million tonnes at 6.5% total graphitic carbon, and a mine life of more than 21 years with expansion.
Separately, Evion said its 50:50 Panthera Graphite joint venture with Metachem Manufacturing Co began operations in the fourth quarter of 2024, with its first shipment in March 2025. The company reported positive unaudited EBITDA of US$530,000 in the venture's first full year of commercial production, at 20% to 25% of nameplate capacity.
