Finder outlines KTJ development progress in corporate presentation

Finder said the KTJ development concept has been finalised with provision for future expansion, while front-end engineering and design is complete for the subsea production system and development wells. The company said the development area, field development plan and environmental impact statement have been approved.

According to Finder, it has acquired the Petrojarl FPSO and is transitioning to the EPCI phase. The company said it is seeking critical-path long-lead items, with rig, shipyard and EPCI contracts under negotiation following completion of relevant tender processes.

Finder reported independently assessed KTJ gross 2P reserves of 22.2 million barrels of oil and 2C contingent resources of 2.2 million barrels. It said a 2C production-model forecast indicates 14 million to 15 million barrels after two years, while FPSO ownership could extend field life by a further 2 million to 3 million barrels; these are company projections and resource estimates subject to uncertainty.
