The company reported that hole SDDSC225 returned 2.7 m at 178.6 g/t AuEq, including 178.4 g/t gold and 0.1% antimony, from 662.3 m on the GD40 vein set. Hole SDDSC218 returned 6.8 m at 50.1 g/t AuEq from 537.9 m, while SDDSC221 returned 1.0 m at 198.9 g/t AuEq from 680.0 m.
According to Southern Cross Gold, eight composite intersections in the release exceeded 100 g/t Au and 12 individual assays exceeded 100 g/t Au across four of the five holes. The company said the 6.8 m composite in SDDSC218 included an individual assay of 1,290.0 g/t Au over 0.22 m.
The company said SDDSC218 and SDDSC221 identified four vein sets not previously recognised within the current Exploration Target, extending Golden Dyke by 30 m to 50 m west toward Christina. Infill drilling reduced spacing in the tested block from about 50 m to about 30 m along strike, with 15 m to 20 m lateral spacing.
The five holes tested a roughly 300 m by 500 m block between 280 m and 750 m below surface. The company noted that intervals are reported as drill thickness and interpreted true widths for other reported holes are approximately 60% to 85% of sampled thickness; it also stated that data spacing and distribution are not yet sufficient to report a Mineral Resource Estimate.
