Great Southern Mining has reported additional assay results from 1,964m of its ongoing approximately 14,000m drilling program at the Golden Boulder discovery within the Duketon Gold Project in Western Australia.
The company highlighted intercepts including 9m at 3.36 g/t gold from 127m, including 4m at 6.77 g/t gold, and 4m at 11.38 g/t gold from 45m, including 1m at 29.71 g/t gold. It also reported 2m at 7.27 g/t gold from 70m, including 1m at 13.93 g/t gold.
According to the company, assays received for most holes in the northern 1.1km of the Main Line trend follow 2025 RC drilling that extended gold mineralisation across a 3.5km strike. Great Southern said all but four of the 38 holes reported from the current RC program returned mineralised intercepts above 0.7 g/t gold.
RC drilling remains under way at Golden Boulder. The company said assays were awaited for 3,425m across 39 holes at Golden Boulder and for 2,248m across 18 RC holes at the Amy Clarke discovery. It plans another drilling phase after the current program is completed.
Great Southern said the current drill-hole spacing and distribution may be sufficient for assessing geological and grade continuity for a mineral resource and ore reserve estimation procedure, but that its updated assessment has not yet been completed. True widths have not been confirmed.
