Gateway defines two 4km gold-in-soil anomalies at Glenburgh South

The company said the anomalies are associated with interpreted regional structural corridors and lie within the broader Glenburgh Gold District, south of Benz Mining Corp's Glenburgh Gold Project. Gateway characterised the results as early-stage reconnaissance work, with sampling completed on a wide-spaced 200m by 800m grid.

A total of 338 surface soil samples were collected using a minus-177 micron sieve and submitted to ALS in Perth for gold analysis. Reported gold assay statistics include a maximum result of 8 ppb, a mean of 0.28 ppb and a median of zero.

Gateway expects additional assay results from the current anomaly areas and two remaining target areas over coming months. Its planned work includes geological mapping, rock-chip sampling, additional soil sampling, potential infill soil sampling, structural interpretation and integration of datasets to generate targets for first-pass drill testing. No drilling is reported in the announcement.
