Rox Resources reaches financial close on Youanmi debt facilities

Rox Resources has announced financial close on its A$350 million debt facilities for the Youanmi Gold Mine, with A$90.2 million drawn under its A$300 million senior secured project term loan facility and A$4 million utilised under a bank guarantee facility.

The company said proceeds from the initial project debt drawdown will support ongoing Youanmi development and construction, including EPC activities, procurement, underground mine development, infrastructure works, owner costs and general project expenditure.

Rox said A$229.8 million remains available under the project debt and cost overrun facilities following the initial utilisation. Further drawdowns are expected progressively in line with the approved development schedule and funding requirements.

Managing director and chief executive Phill Wilding said construction activities were accelerating at Youanmi, with the company targeting first gold in mid-2027.
