Boresight completes Huntsville facility move, begins production

Boresight completes Huntsville facility move, begins production

In its quarterly activities report for the period ended 30 September 2026, Boresight reported cash and cash equivalents of A$5.39 million and no debt. The company recorded unaudited revenue of about A$829,000 for the quarter, which it attributed to lower deliveries and the timing of defence procurement.

The company said its new Huntsville facility is about 15 times the size of its previous US premises. It said the initial fit-out is capable of producing more than 5,000 BQ-400 aerial target drones a year, while plans include adding BQ-750 Block 2 and other Boresight products for the US market.

Boresight said it continued production and delivery of BQ-400 aerial target drones for customers in Australia, the United States, Germany and Sweden, with the 6,300th unit manufactured and delivered during the quarter. It also said it had shifted from a build-to-order model to a build-to-inventory approach for high-volume products and supply-chain components.
