The funding offer is under Round 34 of the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme Co-funded Drilling Program. Artemis said the offer remains subject to execution of a formal funding agreement and applicable program conditions.
Artemis plans to begin its Cassowary diamond drilling program in late October 2026, although the company said recent rain affecting access roads and tracks could affect timing. The planned 800m hole is intended to test basement rocks and potential mineralisation within and possibly above an interpreted intrusion.
Cassowary is described by Artemis as a concealed magnetic target on the western margin of the Madura Province. The company said regional geophysical interpretation identified deformation and possible hydrothermal alteration features that support its view of the target's copper-gold prospectivity.
