The company said NMRD104 returned 92m at 1.25% Li2O from 92m, including 73m at 1.45% Li2O from 110m. It described the interval as the longest downhole mineralised intersection recorded at Blackbeard and said it was drilled about 80m up-dip of a previously reported intersection.
Results have been received for five completed diamond holes, NMRD101 to NMRD105, as well as the first batch of samples from NMRD108. Core said drilling remains underway and further assay results are expected as they become available.
Core said Blackbeard has no Mineral Resource estimate, as drill spacing is not yet sufficient to establish geological and grade continuity for resource estimation. The company said its staged diamond drilling campaign totals 12,150m and forms part of its strategy for resource growth and mine-life extension at Finniss.
