Lindian targets December first monazite concentrate at Kangankunde

Lindian Resources said Kangankunde remains on schedule for first production, citing installed processing equipment, progressing electrical works and growing ore inventories. The company reported ore stockpiles of about 149,000 tonnes, an increase of about 24,000 tonnes from September 2026.

The company said structural steel installation in the WHIMS and MGS areas was about 90% complete, shaking tables were about 80% complete, and the regrind mill installation had been completed. Pumps had been positioned in the separation circuits and piping installation was progressing.

Lindian is targeting site energisation in the first week of November 2026. It said energisation would allow progressive motor testing, plant-control-system activation and electrical commissioning before first ore introduction.

Mining activities continue, with approximately 149,000 tonnes of ore stockpiled on the ROM pad, Lindian said. The company added that grade-control drilling and sampling were continuing to support ore definition and feed planning, while remaining TSF works were scheduled for completion in November 2026.
