West Wits Mining said its executive team will attend the Australian Gold Conference in Sydney from October 13 to 15, where it will present an update on its Qala Shallows operation.
The company said first gold was poured at Qala Shallows in March 2026. It outlined production targets of 10,000 to 15,000 ounces in 2027, 42,500 ounces in 2028 and 70,000 ounces a year at steady state in 2029.
West Wits said it had received a second senior debt drawdown of about A$21 million in October 2026 under its Absa/Nedbank funding package. The company said the funding was intended to support the path to steady-state operations.
The company reported a global JORC mineral resource estimate for the WBP of 56.44 million tonnes at 4.00 g/t gold for 7.24 million ounces. It said its February 2026 update added 1.2 million ounces at 4.38 g/t, while ongoing drilling was supporting potential mineral resource-to-ore reserve conversion.
