WA Gold Exploration | Yandal Greenstone Belt
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to join a growing exploration team working across projects in the Yandal Greenstone Belt, WA.
This role will suit a geologist with 10+ years’ exploration experience, ideally with a strong WA gold exploration background, who is confident leading field teams and managing active drilling programs in a remote exploration environment.
About the Role
Supervise and manage aircore, RC and diamond drilling programs
Working on a 13/8 roster, you will oversee exploration activities from a newly established 21-person exploration camp. With multiple rigs expected to be operating on site from March onward, this position will play a key role in coordinating concurrent drilling programs, managing contractors, and providing strong geological leadership to the broader field team.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- 10+ years’ exploration geology experience
- Strong WA gold exploration experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and manage drilling programs
- Solid technical skills in target generation and structural geology
- Strong understanding of QA/QC and geological data management
- Previous experience working in remote WA exploration environments
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
