Our client, an ASX-listed gold exploration and development company, is seeking to appoint a Senior Mining Engineer to join their small team on an exciting greenfield project.
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering;
- WA Unrestricted Quarry Manager’s certificate of competency (desirable);
- Current WA C class driver’s license;
- Proficient in using mine planning and scheduling software (Deswik, Surpac).
Position Duties:
- Develop and monitor medium to long term plans (3MP to LOM);
- Assist the management team with contractor EOM claims and reporting;
- Undertake daily inspections of working areas;
- Provide engineering advice to stakeholders including mining contractors;
- Have strong Safety focus and skills relating to Principal Hazard Management;
Experience
5-10 years operational experience working ideally on a gold operation.
