Mining Employment Services (MES) is currently seeking experienced Underground Diamond Driller to join our clients' mining operations across Western Australia. FIFO Roster 14:7.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Underground Diamond Driller looking to join a strong underground mining operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate underground diamond drill rigs;
- Set up and pack down drill rigs and drill pads;
- Conduct drill moves and assist with rig positioning;
- Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance;
- Achieve drilling production and quality targets;
- Maintain accurate drilling records and reports;
- Follow all site safety procedures and controls;
- Work closely with supervisors, geology and site teams;
- Mentor and support Drill Assistants/Offsiders;
- Troubleshoot drilling and down-hole issues where required;
What We're Looking For:

Proven underground diamond drilling experience;

Experience operating LM90, LM110, Epiroc or similar underground rigs highly regarded;

Directional and/or deep-hole drilling experience advantageous;

Strong understanding of core recovery and drilling practices;

Current WA C Class Manual Driver's Licence;

Strong safety record and reliable work ethic;

Ability to work effectively as part of a drill crew.
