An established and high-performing underground gold operation in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Underground Bogger Operators to join their team on a FIFO.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Underground Bogger Operators looking for a FIFO 8;6 /7/7 roster.
The successful candidates will be responsible for operating underground boggers/loaders safely and efficiently, supporting production and development activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate underground boggers/loaders in production and development areas;
- Complete loading, mucking and material movement activities efficiently;
- Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks;
- Operate equipment in accordance with site procedures and mine plans;
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping around the work area;
- Identify and report equipment faults or ground conditions;
- Work closely with underground supervisors and mining crews;
- Meet production targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety;
- Follow all site safety procedures, standards and instructions.
About You:
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous underground bogger operating experience;
- Solid underground mining experience;
- Strong equipment operating skills;
- Experience operating CAT or Sandvik loaders/boggers highly regarded;
- Remote bogger operating experience highly regarded;
- Australian Manual C Class Driver’s Licence;
- Strong commitment to safe work practices;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen;
- Valid working rights in Australia.
