Our client is currently seeking an experienced Technician – Processing Services Operator to join our client's Ore Treatment team at a leading Western Australian gold operation. FIFO Roster 8/6.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating mobile equipment, supporting fixed plant operations and assisting with shutdowns, maintenance and processing projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient and reliable ore treatment operations while contributing to continuous improvement across the processing department,

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate mobile equipment including loaders, skid steers, forklifts and excavators;
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of plant and mobile equipment;
• Assist with housekeeping activities throughout the Ore Treatment Plant;
• Support plant operations, shutdowns and maintenance activities;
• Assist with tank clean-outs, dump leach irrigation setup and other processing support tasks;
• Carry out civil works including trenching, crane pad preparation and general site works;
• Assist with projects across the Ore Treatment Department;
• Participate in daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and safety interactions;
• Identify, report and manage hazards while maintaining a strong safety culture;
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a mineral processing, fixed plant or mining production environment;
• Experience operating Loaders, Skid Steers, Forklifts and Excavators;
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance;
• Experience assisting with shutdowns and maintenance activities;
• Ability to perform basic servicing and daily maintenance on mobile equipment;
• Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (highly regarded);
• Forklift, Bobcat, Loader and other relevant mobile equipment tickets (highly regarded).
