Our client, a dominant explorer, developer, operator, and gold mining company, is seeking an experienced Gold Room Operator to join their team at a prolific gold operation in Western Australia's Outback. Roster: FIFO 8-6. For a short-term casual role.
Job Requirements:
- Valid WA C class driver's licence.
- Previous experience operating the Acacia reactor.
- Previous Gold Room experience;
- Confined Space Ticket;
- Working at Heights Ticket;
- License to operate forklift, skid steer;
- Ability to work to deadlines;
Position Duties:
- Run the different facets of the Gold Room and areas of the Processing Plant as required - Elution, Crushing, Grinding, Gravity Circuit, Leaching and Adsorption, and Reagents;
- Operation of the gold recovery processes according to process parameters and reporting any variance;
- Conduct regular inspections of the Gold Room and ensure routine maintenance is conducted.
- Perform plant and equipment isolations as per the procedure.
- Undertaking hazard analysis and ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported;
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in Gold Room Processing Plants.
