Our client, a leading explorer, developer, and operator in the gold mining industry, is seeking an experienced Mill Foreman / Supervisor to join their team at a prominent gold operation in Western Australia; FIFO Perth Roster 7/7;

Requirements: 

  • NPC within the last 6 months;
  • Strong leadership skills and leading by example;
  • Background in gold or base metals processing;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain effective and inclusive working relationships;
  • Ability to create a positive team working environment;

Position Duties:

  • Gold recovery and security;
  • Monitoring crushing, processing, gold room, tailings dams;
  • Train and mentor your team;
  • Coordinate the shift crew;
  • Lead in the workplace to achieve processing targets safely & efficiently;
  • Conduct incident investigations, daily pre-start meetings and participates in risk identification;
  • Contribute to the Weekly Planning process, and ensure compliance to plan is maximized;
Experience
Previous supervisory experience, in a gold processing environment.
