Our client, a gold producer, developer, and explorer based in Perth, operates within two distinct project areas in Western Australia. They are currently seeking experienced Process Operators for their gold operations.
Job Requirements:
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s license;
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks;
- Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT) (desirable);
- Confined Space, Gas Testing, Working at Heights Tickets (desirable);
- Forklift License (desirable);
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment;
- Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
Position Duties:
- Operate all processing plant - Grinding, Gravity, Leach, Adsorption, Crushing, Gold Room and Tails Storage Facility;
- Operate the forklift, EWP, IT, and skid-steer in a safe and correct manner;
- Operate process control systems using CITECT;
- Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair;
- Identify and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant.
Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in Gold Processing Plants.
