Our client, a successful Australian gold producer, is looking for a Senior Underground Mining Engineer to join their team at one of their Western Australian gold operations.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering;
- WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate (preferred);
- Strong communication and organisational skills;
- Proficient in using Deswik and Surpac.
Position Duties:
- Short to medium term mine planning activities;
- Monitor progress against plan/budget and reporting significant deviations;
- Monitoring, and simulation of, mine ventilation and dewatering network;
- Ensure the development and infrastructure designs are practical and cost effective;
- Supervise activities of junior mining engineers and other technical staff;
