Our client a premium Australian Gold Miner are seeking an Underground Manager to lead their team.
Requirements:
- Tertiary level Mining Engineering Degree;
- First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency;
- Proficient using Deswik;
- Competence and confidence to lead an underground engineering team across all production, ventilation, planning and scheduling activities.
Position Duties:
- Manage all underground mining operations;
- Manage senior mining personnel ensuring operation targets are met;
- Continuously review, improve and monitor safety and environmental aspects of the operation;
- Financially review and monitoring of operational budgets;
- Provide effective leadership to the site management team;
- Ensure statutory compliance is met and maintained in accordance with the Mining Act and Regulations Requirements.
Experience
Demonstrated experience working as an Underground Mine Manager within a minimum of 10 years underground operational mining experience
