Our Client operates a world-class Australian mining and processing operation and they are dedicated to meeting and achieving stringent environmental & safety standards and performance. The training and development of their Processing staff is a high priority.
They are searching for a high calibre Mill Operator Trainer to join the supervisory ranks of their organisation on a long term contract role.
The process plant comprises of crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering and a paste plant.
Reporting to the Mill Foreman, you will be a key member of the operations team, assisting with the management of the operational activities of the team and also be responsible for:

Providing high-quality leadership and training
Ensuring that operational key performance indicators are met on a shift basis
The safe and efficient operation of all plant within your area of responsibility

You are required to have a minimum of five years supervisory and training experience in mineral processing, with proven exposure to base metal flotation, along with a good knowledge of safe work isolation procedures, with an exemplary safety record and focus.
You will also be experienced in the hands-on field and control room operations, have excellent communication skills and have the desire to transfer your skills and knowledge to the workforce. A Certificate 4 in workplace training and assessment will be highly regarded.
