Our Client is an ASX-listed gold company with a highly prospective ground position in the Leonora region of Western Australia. They are currently seeking a Field Assistant to join their exploration team.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient Computer skills and literacy;
- Strong organizational skills, team-oriented attitude and a great attention to detail;
- Fit and strong, can pass a pre-employment medical;
- Forklift and HR license;
- Previous experience with RC and Diamond Drilling (Required).
Position Duties:
- Providing RC/RAB drill rig support by managing samples, writing up sample bags, sieving, collecting, taking measurements of magnetic susceptibility/ scintillometer/pXRF, in co-operation with the field geologist;
- Accurate processing of drill core, including metre marking, cataloguing, core orientation marking, core cutting, geotechnical measurements, core photography, storage other core processing as directed by the field geologist;
- Delivery of samples to the laboratory and preparation of sample dispatch forms;
- Promoting a safe working environment and responsible environmental management at all times.
