On behalf of my client, I am looking for a Contract Hydrographic Surveyor with 5+ years’ experience in Bathymetry Surveys. This position is FIFO from Perth to PNG for a 3-5 week swing with possibilities of extension.
Reporting to the Survey Co-ordinator, the responsibilities of the position will include:
GIS Database setup GNSS experience
3D Modelling of plant
Hydrographic Survey experience
Ground Penetration Radar - UG Utilities Modelling.
LiDAR Data manipulation • Bathymetry Surveys
Processing data collected.
Experience using a Dual echo sounder
Schedule, prioritise and undertake surveying tasks.
Maintaining high levels of communication between departments.
Promotion of a safe, healthy, cooperative and productive work environment.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
Tertiary Qualification – Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying
Hydrographical surveying experience
Bathymetry experience
Surpac experience
Strong computer literacy skills and excellent communication skills.
