Our client in the goldfields of Western Australia requires a Mine Accountant. Ideally this would be a residential role, but a FIFO option may be available for the right candidate.
The Mine Accountant will assist in managing and developing accounting policies and functions across site and prepare internal and external reporting and analysis requirements. This is a self-sufficient role with support from the finance team available. The position is for contract with a view to become permanent.
Membership of a professional organisation (CPA/CA)
Experience and knowledge of integrated accounting systems
Pronto exposure essential
Two years experience in a similar role, mine site preferred
High level of organisational and communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Immediate start preferred
