Our client, a well-regarded ASX-listed gold producer, is seeking an experienced Plant Metallurgist to join their team in Western Australia.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary degree in Metallurgy;
- Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment;
- Knowledge of metallurgical test and survey procedures;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Valid WA manual Drivers License.
Position Duties:
- Ensure the treatment plant is operated in accordance with task instructions and operational parameters;
- Contribute to achieving budgeted production performance, including tonnes treated, gold produced and plant recovery;
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the Process Operators and ongoing technical support to the Processing Department;
- Oversee timely and accurate reporting of processing data;
- Comply with all reporting requirements by ensuring that inspections and observation targets are met and documented.
