Our client is looking for a Contract Underground Mining Engineer to join their dynamic team at their underground gold project in Kalgoorlie.
Role includes
Develop, implement and communicate plans for daily activities including stope drill and blast, development and rehabilitation plans.
Perform primary and secondary ventilation surveys to ensure statutory compliance.
Track daily, weekly and monthly production activities.
Liaise with Mining Contractors to ensure plans are implemented on time and to design.
Assist with key infrastructure projects as required
The contract is for 3 months as either FIFO or Residential. Rosters are 9/5 or 5/2 respectively.
The successful candidate will have Surpac experience with ideally 3+ years experience in the role or similar.
